Drupal 6.x and the handbook page on Clean URLs
Unfortunately Clean URLs was not detected as working during installation as mod_rewrite was disabled. Now I have an installed version of Drupal 6.4 and enabled Clean URLs in Apache 2.2. Restarted Apache, but still I am unable to enable Clean URLs. The handbook page reads:
"In Drupal 6 the installer tests for compatibility with Clean URL's as a part of the installer. If the site was not able to run the test successfully at install time following the instructions for Drupal 5.x below will work for Drupal 6."
So I follow the instructions for Drupal 5.x
1. Goto the administer >> site configuration >> clean urls section of the administrative interface.
done!
2. Look for the paragraph that reads as follows:
Problem: That paragraph is not there
3. Click on the Run the clean URL test. link at the end of the above paragraph.
Problem: That link is not there
How can I rerun the Clean URL test as described in the handbook?
